Description
As Social Media Manager, you will be the voice and digital presence of Cottonwood Creek Church across its social channels. You will craft, schedule, and monitor content that reflects our mission, engages our church family and broader community, and amplifies our message of service, discipleship, and outreach. You will work closely with ministry leaders, communications staff, and creative teams to ensure our online identity is cohesive, relevant, and impactful.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, digital media, ministry communications or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, nonprofit, or church ministry environment.
- Strong storytelling and copywriting skills, with demonstrated ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in visual content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), motion/short-form video preferred.
- Experience with social analytics and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, analytics dashboards).
- A heart for ministry: alignment with Cottonwood Creek Church’s mission of disciple-making, service, and outreach; ability to reflect the church’s values in digital communication.
- Excellent organizational and project-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and navigate multiple ministry calendars.
- Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is comfortable adapting in a ministry context.
