Battle

Chances are you won’t encounter too many snakes and scorpions in an employment office, but the point here is you’ve been given authority over ALL the power of the enemy. There’s nothing he can throw at you that you can’t crush by the power of Christ in you. So how does that apply to the job search? No bad references will be able to injure your chances of employment. A lost or misplaced resume will not hold you back. No nasty recruiter or hiring freeze will be able to keep you out of the position God has for you. But this authority we’ve been given has no value if you don’t exercise it and release it effectively. You will only rise up in your authority if you study Jesus to see how He did it because it’s His power and authority that you’ve been given and apart from Him you can do nothing..
