Study and preparation in God’s Word is precisely what you need if you are to “present yourself to God approved.” Look again at the definition of “approved” — it’s tested by trial. The workman has no reason to be ashamed, because he passed the test. He learned the Word and then he correctly applied it and was successful. That’s your blueprint. To be successful, you need to study the Word of truth, walk confidently into the test and apply the Word effectively. Isn’t that the way you want to handle the job search? When your search is over and you look back on the unemployment experience, wouldn’t it be great to say that you passed the test with flying colors? Doesn't God deserve your unwavering faith in His love and power?

I give God my utmost as I apply His Word in my life.
