Serve Team Associate, Belize

Job Summary

The Serve Team Associate is a secondary level position that responds to the needs of the serve team department based on a schedule determined by the Serve Team Supervisor.  The schedule is determined in coordination with the teams, community partners and ministry requirements.  The Serve Team Associate supports the execution of serve team operations by carrying out plans and assignments developed by the Serve Team Supervisor with a focus on coordination, logistics, and implementation.  Although this position does not hold independent decision-making authority there may be times of delegated leadership responsibilities during specific activities, however, accountability and final authority remains with the Serve Team Supervisor.  This will focus on being an agent that helps build trust and friendship with the team members and helps cast and develop the vision of the ministry. A willingness to perform other various duties and responsibilities as directed is required to ensure successful ministry operations.  This position is a development ambassador for World Gospel Outreach with the ability to accurately represent the heartbeat of what we do as a ministry to North American and Belizean visitors and how the serve team activity plays an important part of the ministry’s vision.  During non team weeks, the expectation is for this role to participate in relief and development activities and actively assisting in campus projects.
