Position Description

This position offers the opportunity to take part in researching, developing, testing, and maintaining multiple tax software products.

 

Requirements

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

•       Develops premium tax software (state tax returns) and supplemental forms using proprietary development tools, Kotlin, and IntelliJ

 

•       Analyzes and implements form and tax return changes

 

•       Performs detailed testing of software

 

•       Forms a working knowledge of all tax forms and returns

 

•       Provides product support (phone, email and web support).  Maintains a professional and lasting relationship with customers

 

•       Provides suggestions for improvement of software and processes

 

•       Other duties as needed or required

 

Qualifications and Skills

 

•       Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (accounting or finance preferred)

 

•       Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

 

•       Knowledge of tax principles or experience with financial applications a plus

 

•       Excellent communication skills

 

•       Strong work ethic

 

•       Detail oriented

 

•       Dependable

 

•       Flexible and able to adapt quickly

 

•       Good problem-solving skills

 

•       Ability to work in a team and independently
