Position Summary

The Arise Africa USA office is looking for an assistant to our Executive Director. This person would work in our office in Fort Worth. This position is held in the office daily and has limited remote/work from home options. This position would hold many different responsibilities. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced non-profit environment. This person would work with everyone in the office to help run things smoothly, manage administrative tasks, help with donor relations and gifts, organize missions trips and communicate with donors. This person would help manage our donor database, put on fundraisers, and work closely with the executive director on many different tasks.


Starting Salary is $50,000 with a year end bonus. No benefits are offered at this time.


Job Duties

– Acts as the administrative point of contact between ED and internal/external demands.

– Undertakes the tasks of receiving calls, taking messages, and routing correspondence.

– Handles executives’ requests and queries promptly and appropriately.

– Conserves executive’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information, initiating telecommunications.

– Maintains executive’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.

– Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

-Helps organize fundraisers with help of Executive Director

– Helps book airline tickets and travel for all mission trippers

–Assists on daily office duties such as addressing envelopes, inputting checks in the donor database etc.

- Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies.

– Maintains the cleanliness and order of the office space with

- Will handle some of the Executive Director’s personal life and tasks

– Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

-Could travel to Zambia if desired



  • Candidate must be a Christian who is actively engaged in their faith through church and community.
  • College degree or higher.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Drive.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, schedule management, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly Relational.
  • Very organized.
